A Celebration of Life for Braxton Reed Edwards, 19 of Decatur, Alabama will be 3:30pm, Friday at First Christian Church with Pastor Mickey Johnson officiating and inhumation to follow in Decatur City Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday afternoon from 2:00 pm to funeral time at the church with Reynolds Funeral Home directing.

Mr. Edwards was born January 7, 1997 in Decatur, Alabama to Kimberly Edwards.  He departed this life on August 21, 2016 at his residence.

Braxton accepted Christ at First Christian Church in 2005. He attended Bob Jones High School in Madison where he was a member of the football and wrestling team.

He was a very loving person that would do anything for his friends.  He was an Alabama “Crimson Tide” Fan.  He loved his family and adored his daughter, Braylynn.

He was preceded in death by his aunt, Bonnie Greene.

He is survived by: his daughters, Braylynn Edwards and her mother, Haley Byrd both of Harvest; his mother, Kimberly Edwards; brother, Cameron Edwards; his grandparents, John and Teresa Pinyatello Edwards all of Decatur; his aunt and uncle, Michelle E. and Michael Hopper of Hartselle; his great-grandmother, Ruby Pinyatello of Trinity; three special cousins, Talyn, Allie and Jase Hopper all of Hartselle along with many other cousins, relatives and friends.
