A Celebration of Life for Earl Green Sr, will be 1:00 PM Monday, February 1, 2016, at Bell Primitive Baptist Church in Decatur with Elder Benjamin D. Burt, officiating. The body of Mr. Green will lie in repose one hour before the service.  Interment will follow in Sterrs Cemetery. Public Viewing will be Saturday from 3pm-6pm and Sunday from 2pm-6pm.

Earl Green Sr. was born April 11, 1956 in the Red Bank Community of Lawrence County, Alabama to the late Joe Green and Pearline Smith.  Earl confessed his faith in Christ at Red Bank Baptist Church.

He was a retired employee of Fleet Pride as a delivery driver.  He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed watching his kids and grandkids play sports for over 20 years.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Nora Green and his parents, Joe Green and Pearline Smith.

He leaves to cherish his memory: two sons, Earl (Tiffany) Green Jr. and Adrian (Tasha) Green both of Decatur; three siblings, Andrew Green, Lawrence Green and Angela Harris all of Decatur;  his grandkids, Justice Neloms, Aerial Miller, Tyrique Purvis, Jacquez Green, Jasmine Green, Caleb Watkins and Earlessia Green; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Flower bearers will be nieces. Pallbearers will be Harold Pearson, Gregory Harris, Nick Kennedy, Tyree Green, Bruce Powers and Anthony Narmore
