Elizabeth Ann (Holden) Harris

A Celebration Service for Mrs. Elizabeth Ann Holden Harris, 69 of Decatur will be 12:30pm, Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at David Temple P.B. Church with Pastor Robert Brown officiating.  Interment will be in Sterrs Cemetery.

Elizabeth was born November 15, 1948 in Decatur, Alabama to the late William and Carlean Shaw Holden.  She departed this life Friday, March 23, 2018 at Decatur Morgan Hospital-Decatur General Campus.

She accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of David Temple P.B. Church in Decatur.  She was a faithful member that loved her church and had served as the church treasurer.

Ann graduated from Lakeside High School in 1967.  She was a homemaker and was united in Holy Matrimony to Howard Harris.

She was preceded in death by: her parents, William and Carlean Holden; siblings, Hartenisa Larraine Holden Chatman, Charles Shaw Sr., William Holden Jr. and Ollis Holden.

Mrs. Harris leaves to cherish her memory: husband, Howard Harris of Decatur; in-laws, Alice Holden of Atlanta, GA and Emma Torain Shaw of Decatur and Adelia Tisdale of Greenbrier, AL; a devoted cousin and his wife that were her caregivers, Alex  and  Nickia Wiggins of Decatur and a host of nieces, nephews, other cousins, relatives and friends.
