Felicia Deneen Lankford Stovall, affectionately known as “BoBesa” was born January 11, 1965 in Alabama to the late Calvin Ayers and Willie Mae Ricks. On December 5, 2016 at UAB Hospital, Felicia left this earthly home  to join her heavenly father.

Felicia accepted Christ as her Savior at a young age. She was a member of Union Grove Primitive Baptist Church, under the leadership of the Reverend Dr. George W. Franklin. She used her God-given talent to sing as a cherished member of the choir and often led songs. Some of her most requested songs were, “Wade in the Water”, “This World is not my Home”, and “I’m Gonna Make It”.  Towards the end of her journey, she was on fire for God and often testified of the great works that He had performed in her life.

Next to God, Felicia loved her family more than anything. She leaves behind to cherish her beautiful memory:  a special aunt, Luvenger Pickett ,who was like a second mom; three daughters, Teri Langford, Domonique Stovall, both of Decatur, AL and Vanlenissa Langford (Richard) of Huntsville AL; one son, Jammie Langford of Huntsville, AL; three sisters, Jacqueline (Eric) Moore, Christy Matthews, both of Decatur, AL, and Halika (Nathan) Williams of Elizabeth, KY; five brothers Ronald (Angela) Matthews, Chauncy (Angela) Ayers, Calvin (Jamie) Ayers, Corey Ayers and George (Felecia) James, all of Decatur, AL; one special cousin who was more like a brother, Darren Langford of Hartselle, AL; a stepmom, Hermena Ayers of Decatur, AL; a stepdad, Terry Ricks, of Hillsboro, AL; 15 grandchildren whom she loved dearly, DaQuan, Aaliyah, Tyrik, Jaheim, Emma, Mariah, Zyrell, Markel, Jamaya, Lamont, Neveah, Jonathan, Jammie Jr., Haley and Devin; one great grandchild, Kyrus and a host of beloved aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
