Reynolds Funeral Home announces with deepest sympathy the passing of Mr. Hence Griffin Jr., 81 of Decatur, AL.  Mr. Griffin passed away on May 14, 2017 at River City Center. No formal  funeral service will be held.

Mr. Griffin was born on April 12, 1936, in the Oakville Community of Lawrence County, Alabama  to the late Hence Griffin Sr. and the late Annie Lee Wiggins. He attended Lawrence County School.

He worked as a welder and pipe fitter for the Roberts Foundation for many years until he retired. He was a very friendly and outgoing person. He never met a stranger. He loved fishing and being around people.

He was preceded in death by his parents. He was memorialized at Noon today, May15, 2017.
