A Celebration of Life for Mr. Ivory Harris of Hillsboro, Alabama will be noon Monday, December 4, 2017 at Reynolds Funeral Home with the Reverend Ervin Coffey Jr. officiating and inhumation to follow in Elliott-Jackson Cemetery in Hillsboro, Alabama.

Ivory Harris was born on December 8, 1950 to the late Ike and Renetta Sykes-Harris, in Hillsboro, Alabama. 

He confessed Hope in Christ at an early age.

He graduated from Tennessee Valley High School in 1970, attended Calhoun Community College and served in the United States Army.

Ivory was preceded in death by his parents, Ike and Renetta Harris; four brothers, Ike Harris, Jr., Tommy L. Harris, Benjamin Harris and Walter R. Harris.

He leaves to mourn and cherish his memory: a son, Marlon M. Harris of Madison, AL; two sisters, Mary Sue Bowman of Hillsboro, AL and Jennetta Perkins (Earnest) of Decatur, AL; two grandchildren, Jaydon and Jasmine of Madison, AL; one aunt, Mary Jo Garth, Ambler, PA; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; and a very devoted and special friend, Rosia Matthews.
