A Celebration of Life for Mr. Johnny Ed Campbell, 63 of Somerville, AL will be noon, Saturday, May 13, 2017 at Mt. Mariah United Methodist Church in Valhermosa Springs, AL with Pastor Kelvin Jones officiating and inhumation to follow in Curry Chapel Cemetery.  The body will be placed in the church one hour prior to funeral. Public viewing will be Thursday from 2-7 and Friday from 10-7 at Reynolds Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6-7 at the funeral home.

Mr. Campbell was born December 15, 1953 in Morgan County, Alabama to the late O’Felix Fred Campbell and Mary Lee Jones Campbell. He peacefully made his eternal transition on Monday, May 8, 2017 at Decatur Morgan Hospital-Decatur General Campus surrounded by his family.

Bro. Johnny accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age at Curry Chapel C.M.E. Church where he remained a member.  He attended Brewer High School and was retired from Wolverines Tube as a machine operator.

Mr. Campbell was formerly married to Shelia Dianne Pryor King and to this union three children were born, Charissa, Natalie and Johnny Jr.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; five siblings, Bobby, Charlie, Johnny L., Silas and Barbara Campbell.

Johnny Ed Campbell is survived by: three children, Charissa Campbell of Decatur, Natalie Campbell (Patdrick) Brown of Madison and Johnny Campbell Jr. of Gadsden; 14 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; three sisters, Rose (Edonis) Birgans of Decatur, Carol Campbell of Somerville and Mollie Campbell of Huntsville; seven brothers, Felix (Sierra) Campbell, Willie Campbell, Billy (Franzetta) Campbell all of Somerville; Tommie (Donna) of Tulacah, AL, Kenneth (Trina) Campbell of Harvest, Jeff Campbell of Somerville and Josh (Leann) of Huntsville; three aunts, Linda Campbell Orr, Alice (Benny) Rice all of Huntsville and Louella (John) Rice of Toney and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Flower Attendants and Pallbearers will be classmates and friends
