Homegoing Service for  Ms. Laura Mae White, 66 of Decatur, AL.  will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2017, 1:00 p.m. at St. Stephens P.B. Church, with Pastor Christopher Collins, Officiating and Interment at Sterrs Cemetery. The body will lie in repose one  hour prior to funeral.  Public viewing will be Thursday from 3-7 and Friday from 10-7 at Reynolds Funeral Home.

Ms. Laura M. White was born in Morgan County, Alabama on October 22, 1950 to the late Arthur Lee White and Margaret Johnson White. She departed this life on Tuesday, October 3, 2017. She united with the St. Stephen P.B. Church under the leadership of the late Elder Eugene Lewis and was a faithful member.

Laura was loved by many people and will be remembered for her kindness, compassion and smile. She never met a stranger. She is survived by three children: a son, Mr. Earnest White; two daughters, Ms. Tracey White (Mason) of Atlanta, GA and Ms. Amy White (Rodney) of Decatur; two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Varner (Charles) of Decatur and Ms. Alematia Brackins of Birmingham, AL; four brothers, Mr. Arthur White, Lonnie White, Darris White all of Decatur and Mr. Willie White of St. Claire, AL; six grandchildren, Asia, D.J., Demarco, Olajuwon, Jeree, Lauryn, Kate; one great grandchild, Bryson; two very special and loyal friends, Mr. Herman Robinson and Ms. Diane Townsend-Johnson; a host of relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be: Paul Fields, Casino White, Alex Wiggins, William Seth, Dexter Byrd, Christopher Emerson and Mark Emerson. Flower Bearers will be: Bobby Bradley, Ann Malone, Tyra Coleman, Bidget Cousin, Ashlee Deloney, Madalyn Taylor and Ladorian Banks.
