Minnie Lee Bynum Griffin was a person of love, strength, loyalty, and faithfulness. She was born July 12, 1937 in Morgan County, Alabama to late Jodie and Berzina Williams Bynum. She departed this life on November 21, 2017 at the River City Center.

Minnie accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as a Savior at a young age, and remained a faithful and dedicated member of Hartselle Missionary Baptist Church.

She attended Morgan County Training Center and was employed for many years as the manager of Cardinal Apartments.  She also managed numerous charter bus trips.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; three daughters, Alice, JoAnn and Elizabeth Griffin; and one son, Terry Griffin

Mrs. Griffin leaves to cherish her memory: her daughter, Brenda Griffin of Decatur; one brother, Benny Bynum of Decatur; nine grandchildren, Derrick, Tracy, LaKaz, Julia, Michael, Teyka, Kimberly, JaKhala and Eric; 20 great-grandchildren and a host of other cousins, relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends on Sunday afternoon from 4-5 at Reynolds Funeral Home.  Inurnment services will be held at Roselawn Gardens of Memory at a later date.
