A Memorial Service for Mr. Robert Earl Orr, 80 of Hartselle, Alabama will be 2:00pm, Thursday at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses in Hartselle located at 70 New Center Rd, Hartselle, AL 35640 with Bro. Bob Kyker officiating.
Mr. Orr was born on June 15, 1937 in Morgan County, Alabama to the late Ollie and Georgia Mae Lundy Orr. Mr. Orr was baptized into the Jehovah Witnesses on April 29, 1960. Mr. Orr symbolized his dedication by water immersion as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on April 29, 1960. He expressed his faith in God's promise of the future paradise earth where God's Kingdom government will replace suffering, sadness and sickness with peace and happiness. (Daniel 2:44, Isaiah 33:24)", He was a farmer and previously owned a trucking company until his retirement. He departed this life on April 15, 2018 at his residence in Hartselle.
Mr. Orr was baptized into the Jehovah Witnesses on April 29, 1960.

He was preceded in death by: his wife, Willie Pearl Orr; parents, Ollie and Georgia Mae Orr; siblings, Ollie Mae Turney, Jack Orr, Lillie Mae Orr, Reuben Orr and Nettie Faye Sharpley.
He is survived by: seven children, Timothy E. (Judy) Orr of Danville, Billy F. (Laverne) Orr of Hartselle, Vera F. Brown of Danville, Dennis L. (Wynette) Orr, Della L. Orr both of Hartselle, Gilla A. (Tracey) Brazelton of Decatur and Georgia N. (Steve) Kennemer of Hartselle; 10 grandchildren, six great grandchildren; four siblings, Charles (De Temera) Orr of Leighton, Joe Orr of Decatur, Johnny “Bubba” Orr and Jossie Orr both of Hartselle; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
