Thank you ALL for loving my father, Therman. I will truly miss him and our Sunday talks. My "Pops" is now a Peaceful Angel in Heaven. Cherish his memory and his legacy...an icon in the small town of Oakville, Alabama. Therman White put his home town on the World Map with the land purchase and co-founder of the Jesse Owens Museum and Park. Website: Jesseowensmuseum.org
In 2006, the unveiling and park dedication took place with the running of the Olympic Torch by Therman and his friend James Pinion with the Owens family in attendance. I am very proud of my Father, my role model, my hero. Rest in Eternal Peace, Dad! Forever in our hearts. Never Forgotten!!! United States Navy, Retired.
