Timothy Eugene Jones passed this life on September 1, 2017 at the Veteran's Adminstration Hospital in San Antonio, Texas.  Services will be noon, Saturday, October 7, 2017 at Moulton Heights Missionary Baptist Church, with the Rev. Willie White, Officiating.

Timothy Eugene Jones was the son of the late Lawrence W. Jones and Georgia Mosely. He was born September 9, 1972 in Morgan County, Alabama and departed this life on September 1, 2017 in San Antonio, TX.

He was a 1990 graduate of Decatur High School. Timothy enlisted in the U. S. Army where he served for seven years as an E4 Specialist and Medical Equipment Repair Specialist.

He leaves to cherish his memory: a loving wife, Mona Lisa Jones; one daughter, Juanita Jones; one stepson, Evan Aldridge          all of Grand Prairie, TX; a beloved stepmother, Minister Brenda Jones of Decatur; eight brothers, Jerry Garth, Clifton (Katriana) Jones, Travis Moseley, Terrance (Markedda) Jones, Christopher Jones, Jamison (Telisha) Jones all of Decatur; five sisters, Donna (Jamar) Jones, LaTasha Garth, Mia Garth, Chanatia Jones all of Decatur and LaTonia Jones of Huntsville, AL; three sisters-in-law, Linda Dickerson of Memphis, TN, Elane McDonald of Madison, AL and Michelle McDonald of Decatur; a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.    

Flower Bearers and Urn Bearers will be nieces and nephews.
