Wanda Gross Obituary

A Celebration of Life for Mrs. Wanda L. Gross, 58 of Decatur, AL. will be 1:00 pm, Sunday at Shiloh M.B. Church with Pastor Edward Owens officiating and inhumation to follow in Calvary Memorial Gardens.  The body will lie in repose one hour prior to funeral .  The family will receive friends on Saturday from 6:00pm-7:00pm at Reynolds Funeral Home.  Public viewing will be Friday from 3-7 and Saturday from 10-7 at the funeral home.  Mrs. Gross passed away January 29, 2018 at Huntsville Hospital.

​Wanda Lynn Gross was born in Decatur, AL on August 22, 1959 to Doris Jarmon and Roosevelt Hatton. God called her into eternal rest on January 29, 2018 at Huntsville Hospital.

​​She accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age and united with Westside M.B. Church in Decatur, AL and later united with Calvary Assembly of God where she faithfully served as a Door Greeter.

​She attended Austin High School and was a member of the ROTC. Later, she attended Calhoun Community College. She retired from General Electric in Decatur, AL.

​She was loved and adored by everyone who knew her. Her on-going smile and infectious laugh was her signature.  She loved her family and friends. Wanda was a devoted daughter, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and a loving sister. She loved to sing and dance and was a real die-hard Alabama Crimson Tide Fan.

She was preceded in death by one son, Nikia Sontarill Wiggins.

​She leaves to cherish her precious memory: a loving and devoted husband, Charlie Gross, Jr.; two daughters, Denonia Jarmon and Andrione Wiggins of Decatur, AL; one son, Cornelius La’Rhon Wiggins of Huntsville, AL; mother, Doris Jarmon of Decatur, AL; father, Roosevelt Hatton (Georgia) of Detroit, MI; five brothers, Maj(r) Perry (Doris) Jarmon of Kennesaw, GA, Perma Jarmon, Decatur, AL, Teddy Hatton, Keith Hatton, Micheal (Claudette) Hatton of Detroit, MI; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three sisters-in-law; one brother-in-law; several nieces and nephews whom she loved and adored; four loving aunts; and a host of other relatives and friends.

​Pallbearers and Flower Bearers will be Cousins and Friends
