Reynolds Funeral Home announces with deepest sympathy the passing of Mr. Willie B. Sheppard, 69, of Courtland, Alabama.  Mr. Sheppard died December 3, 2016 at Decatur Morgan Hospital-Parkway Campus.  Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, December 8, 2016, 1:00 p.m. at Moulton Church of Christ with Brother Larry D. Williams, Sr. Officiating and inhumation to follow in Moulton Memory Garden.

Mr. Willie "BB" Sheppard was born June 12, 1947 to the late Paul Davis and Lassie Modanie Sheppard of Lawrence County, AL.

He confessed to Christ at an early ae at the Church of Christ in Moulton. He graduated from Moulton Gopher High School in Lawrence County. He was employed at Lawrence County Hospital and Ambulance Services for 33 years.  He also served on the North Courtland City Council for 12 years.

He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Davis; his mother, Lassie Modanie Sheppard; brothers, JD Sheppard, Wayne Sheppard, Lonnie Hubbard and William Sheppard; sisters, Winnie Sue Orr and Betty Young.

He leaves to cherish his sweet memory: his wife, Sarah Garth of North Courtland; three daughters, Tamara Davis of Montgomery, AL, Sharon Garth of Decatur; and Willow Dean Garth (Rodney) of North Courtland; three sons, Darrin Davis of Madison, AL, Willie D. Sheppard (Paris) of North Courtland and Terry Clopton (Tiffany) of Town Creek, AL; five sisters, Barbara Williams (Exon Jr.) of Hillsboro, AL, Mrs. Ella D. Lacey (Cordal) of Decatur, Betty Rivers of Michigan, Barbra Givens of Nashville, TN and Odessa Redus of Cleveland, OH; two brothers, Cacius C. Sheppard (Dina) of Huntsville, AL and Mr. Jimmy D. Sheppard of Moulton, AL; four sisters-in-law, Rosie Brandon, Willodean Garth (Willie), Ludie Robinson and Jurleen Henderson (Jessie); two brothers-in-law, Micheal Clopton (Earnestine) and James Spencer Clopton; 24 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; two devoted grandchildren, Triston Malik Garth and Trinedi Symone Garth; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Pallbearers will be: DeRay Williams, Jerry Prince, Joshua Williams, Jack Prince, Paul Prince, Hardwick Elliott, Larry Prince, Otis Chapman. Flower Bearers are (Nieces) Latonya Stevens, Lillie Hubbard, Pauyell Hubbard, Betty Chapman, Cristina Goode, Latrice Pointer, Wanda Craig, Doris Prince, Brenda Prince and Angela Elliott.
