Alandria R Ricks

A Service of Love and Remembrance for Ms. Alandria Ricks, 44 of Decatur, AL will 1:00 pm Sunday at Shiloh M.B. Church with Dr. Edward Owens officiating.  The body will lie in repose one hour prior to service.  Public viewing will be Saturday from noon to 6:00 pm at Reynolds Funeral Home.

Ms. Alandria Ricks was born on March 27, 1975 to the late Cooper Ricks and Adell Prince Ricks in Decatur, AL. She departed this life on July 11, 2019 at the Decatur Morgan Hospital – Decatur General Campus.

She accepted Christ at an early age and united with Shiloh M.B. Church.

Alandria attended schools in the Decatur City School System, graduating from Austin High School in 1993.  She worked at Wayne Farms and CinRam until she became disabled. She loved to listen to old school music.

She was preceded in death by her parents;

Alandria leaves to cherish her memory: her children, Alex Ricks and Christian Burt both of Decatur; siblings, Wendell Prince of Nashville, TN, Samuel Ricks of Decatur, Clarence Ricks of Russellville, AL and Corey Ellison of Decatur; aunts, Mable Porter of Huntsville, AL, Lillie Mae Davis of Hillsboro, AL, Lucille Miller of Madison, AL, Versa N. Prince of Decatur, Evangelist Doris Strickland, Elizabeth (Cedric) Winton and Bernice Green all of California; uncle, Huey (Felicia) Prince of Atlanta, GA; a host of other relatives and friends.
