A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, October 6, 2019, at Moulton Heights M.B. Church at 1:30 p.m., with the Reverend Tracy Seltzer officiating.
Andrew Wiggins was born on July 26, 1936 to the late Luther Wiggins and the late Myrtle Norvlean Cain Wiggins in Morgan County, AL. He departed this life on September 30, 2019 at his residence in Decatur, AL.
He accepted Christ at an early age and attended Moulton Heights M.B. Church. Andrew Wiggins was affectionately called “Charlie Boy” by his family and friends. He worked at the Ship Yard for many years, as well as Sears and Roebuck, and later worked for Wayne Farms where he retired.
His hobbies were working on cars, walking and fishing. He loved “jaw-jacking”. Many people enjoyed talking with him. He had a very loving Spirit.
Andrew was united in marriage to the late Nettie Marie Tucker Wiggins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; three siblings, George Washington, Ellen Wiggins and Patricia Pointer.
Charlie Boy will forever be remembered by: his children, Andrew Jr., Carnell (Tracy), Dexter Sr., Kenneth, Jeffery (Becky) Wiggins, Jennifer (Marvin) Elliott, Angelia (John) Newsome, Penelope “Penny” Wiggins, Sherell (Terrill) Miller; siblings, Carolyn (Ruis) Orr Wiggins, Luther Earl (Wanda) Wiggins, Brenda Williams, Loyd Wiggins; uncle, Charlie Wiggins, Sr.; 35 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
