A Celebration of Life for Mrs. Bert Ann Hubbard, 64 of Hillsboro, AL will be 1:00PM Wednesday at Jackson Chapel CME Church in Courtland with the Reverend Hurley Grissom officiating and inhumation in Rocky Hill Cemetery. The body will lie in repose one hour prior to funeral. There will be no public viewing for Mrs. Hubbard.
Bert Ann Hubbard entered this life on July 14, 1954, in Courtland, Alabama to the late Charlie Frank Orr and Lillie Mae Orr. She entered into eternal rest on December 6, 2018 at her residence.
She confessed hope in Christ at an early age and joined Jackson Chapel C.M.E. Church of Courtland, Alabama, where she remained until God decided to call her into eternal rest. She was a faithful member of the Missionary Society.
She was a 1973 graduate of Central High School in Courtland, Alabama.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Lonnie Hubbard.
She leaves to cherish her special memories: three loving daughters, Pauyell Hubbard of Hillsboro, Alabama, Latrice Hubbard of Decatur, Alabama and Lillie Hubbard of Courtland, Alabama; one devoted son, Lonnie C. Hubbard (Andrea) of Decatur, Alabama; two sisters, Randie Braden of Hillsboro, Alabama and Hawthorn Taylor of Courtland, Alabama; three brothers, Authur Orr (Carolyn) of Hillsboro, Alabama, Charlie F. Orr of Decatur, Alabama and Leonard Orr (Sylvia) of Hillsboro, Alabama; three grandsons, Stephone, Zakelby and De’Angelo;3 grandchildren; two special nieces, Penny Orr and Larell Orr Chatman; special nephew, DeMontae Braden; special friend, Celestine Gholston of Decatur, Alabama and two devoted friends, Dorothy Garth and Julie Carter; and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Nephews and Flower Bearers will be Central High School Class of 1973.
