A Celebration of Life for Ms. Chiquita Ann Cunningham, 48 of Decatur will be 1:00 pm, Monday, January 22, 2018 at Moulton Heights M.B. Church with the Reverend Terrence Cunningham officiating and the Reverend Tracy Seltzer host pastor.  Inhumation will follow in Sterrs Cemetery. The body will lie in repose one hour prior to the funeral. Public viewing will be Saturday from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm and Sunday from 2-6 at Reynolds Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends on Sunday evening from 5-6 at the funeral home.

Chiquita Ann Cunningham was born in Decatur, Alabama on March 24, 1969 to Lovenia Cunningham and the late Lee Cross.  She departed this life on January 17, 2018 at the Decatur General Campus of Decatur Morgan Hospital.

She accepted Christ and an early age.  She received her formal education in the Decatur City Schools and attended Decatur High School. She previously was employed by Wayne Farms and K & D Group Homes.  She loved life to the fullest but most importantly she loved being around her family.  She will be missed by all that knew her.

She was preceded in death by: her father, Lee Cross; grandparents, Wilson Cross Sr. and Julia Cross and Walter Cunningham; and one sister-in-law, Cynthia Cunningham

She is survived by: her son, Arness Devon Cunningham (Keisha Williams) of Los Angeles, CA; three grandchildren, Lestameon “Aaliyah Boo” Cunningham-Johnson of Dallas, TX, Elijah Chapman and Madison Orr both of Decatur; mother, Louvenia Cunningham (Tim) Guster of Decatur; grandmother, Julia Mason Cunningham of Decatur; fiancé, Tony Brown of Decatur; brothers, Lester Lee McGuire of Decatur, James “JB” Cunningham of Louisville, KY, Roderick Cunningham, Timothy (Audrey) Cunningham, Terrence (Latisha) Cunningham all of Decatur; two sisters, Versie Cunningham of Birmingham and Debbie Guster of Murfreesboro, TN; eight aunts, five uncles, and a host of great aunts, great uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Flower attendants will be Sheresha Gaiter, Mia Garth, Tasha Garth, Holly Kimmons, Donna Jones, Lolita Amerson, Phyllis McGuire Hampton, Pauline Cunningham, Dametria Elliott and Erica Tapscott Goode.

Pallbearers will be Cecil Peck, Charles Peck, Corey Peck, John Peck, Stacy Peck and Therom Whitfield.
