A Celebration of Life for Mrs. Christine Fulenwider, 87 of Decatur, Alabama will be noon, Wednesday at St. James C.P. Church in America with Pastor Michael Jones officiating and inhumation in Calvary Memorial Gardens. The body will lie in repose one hour prior to funeral. Public viewing will be Monday from 2:30-7:00 and Tuesday from 10-7 at Reynolds Funeral Home.
Christine Bailey Fulenwider entered into eternal rest on March 28, 2018 at Decatur Morgan Hospital – Parkway Campus.
She was born June 28, 1930 in Limestone County, Alabama to Willie and Agnes Bailey. She confessed hope in Christ at an early age and joined Morning Star CME Church in Belle Mina, AL.
Later in life she moved to Decatur, AL and joined St. James C.P. Church in America where she sang in the Mass Choir and was a faithful member.
She was a homemaker and worked at Gordon’s Cleaners for many years. Christine loved people and especially her family.
Christine was preceded in death by her parents; a son, James L. Smith; four sisters; and one brother.
She leaves to cherish her memory: a daughter-in-law, Delois Smith of Hillsboro, AL; five grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; three great great-grandchildren; a very special nephew, Willie James Townsend; god-daughter, Connie P. White both of Decatur; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
