Donna Jo Loyd

A Celebration of Life for Ms. Donna Jo Loyd, 47 of Moulton, Alabama will be noon Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at Freeman Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church with the Reverend Timothy Perryman officiating.  Inhumation will follow in Lindsey Memorial Gardens.  The body will lie in repose one hour prior to funeral.  Public viewing will be Monday from 3-6 and Tuesday form 10-6 at Reynolds Funeral Home.

Ms. Loyd was born October 2, 1972 in Moulton, Alabama to the late Waymon and Mary Taylor Loyd.  She departed this life on November 26, 2019 in Hillsboro, Alabama.  

She was a 1992 graduate of Lawrence County High School and was a homemaker.  She accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Freeman Tabernacle Church in Moulton.

She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, Kenneth Loyd and Michael Loyd.

She leaves to cherish her memory: her children, Kiaya Loyd of Decatur; David "DJ" Collier and Houston Simmons both of Moulton; grandchild, Ke'Maryia "Twink" Parham of Decatur; three sisters, Margaret L. King of Moulton, Evelyn Barrett (Winford) of Hillsboro, Anita Elliott (Robert) of Decatur; two stepbrothers, Ken Stewart of Decatur and Frank Griffin of Moulton; aunts, Minnie Johnson of Decatur and Barbara Barnes of Moulton; uncles, Henry Taylor (Delsey) of Decatur and Otis Barnes of Moulton, sister-in-law, Veronica Loyd of Pensacola, FL; special friend, Julius McAfee of Hillsboro; four close friends, Kristy Bankhead of Hillsboro, Rhonda Byrd of Danville, Tressie Echols and Yolanda Echols both of Moulton; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
