Dorothy Aldridge

Graveside Service for Mrs. Dorothy Aldridge, 94 of Decatur, AL. will be 11:00am Wednesday at Sterrs Cemetery with Dr. Wylheme  Ragland officiating. Mrs. Aldridge died May 5, 2019 at River City Center.  Professional services entrusted to Reynolds Funeral Home. 

Dorothy Matthews Aldridge was born on July 4, 1924 in Morgan County, Alabama to the late Lillie Matthews. She departed this life on May 5, 2019 at River City Health and Rehabilitation Center in Decatur, AL. She attended school in the Decatur City School System. Dorothy was married to the late Jessie Husband and to this union one son, Alonzo Aldridge was born.

Dorothy was a homemaker and a very kind person.She was preceded in death by her mother; her husband and her son.

Dorothy leaves the cherish her memory: her cousins and caregiver, Earl Matthews (Gladys) of Decatur, AL and Delores Saxton (Clarence) of Chattanooga, TN; and a host of other relatives and friends.
