Reynolds Funeral Home announces with deepest sympathy the passing of Mrs. Dorothy Bibb Miller, 91 of Louisville, KY and formerly of Decatur, AL. A Celebration of  Life Service will be held for Mrs. Miller who passed away  on Thursday, December 28, 2017 in Louisville, KY will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2018, 12:00 p.m. at Macedonia C.P. Church in America, with Pastor G. Lynne Herring, officiating and interment in Calvary Memorial Gardens. The body will lie in repose one hour prior to the service. Public viewing will be Thursday, 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

The life of Dorothy (Dot) Bibb Miller began October 3, 1926 in Decatur, Alabama.  Born to the late Alan and Patty Bibb Sutherlin.  She accepted the Lord Jesus Christ at an early age as her personal savior.  On Thursday, December 28, 2017, Dorothy passed away peacefully back into the Savior’s loving arms.

To all who knew her, she was affectionately called Dot.  She was preceded in death by her daughter Dr. Betty Jean Davis, sister Clara Ruth Nance, and two brothers William Sutherlin Jr. and William (Teddy) Sutherlin.  She leaves to cherish her memories a devoted and caring daughter Valerie Howard-AL-Ethawi of Louisville, Kentucky; four grandchildren, George Davis Jr., Erika Davis, Blake Morris, Yasser AL-Ethawi; one precious great-grandson, Omar Davis; three brothers, Walter Sutherlin (Mattie), Garfield Sutherlin, Anthony Sutherlin all of Decatur, AL; four sisters, Norma Jean Allison (Sam), Leila Thompson (Frank), Eloise Sutherlin, all of Decatur, AL, Ernestine Key (Willie) of Huntsville, AL, and a host of other relatives and friends.
