Reynolds Funeral Home announces with deepest sympathy the passing of Mr. Edrin Cortez Orr, 41 of Hillsboro, AL. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, May 20, 2019, 11:00 a.m. at Grace Tabernacle Church of God in Christ , 25 Grace Rd, Courtland, AL with Supt. Dr. Reginald Roberts officiating. The body will lie in repose one hour prior to the service. Public viewing will be Sunday, 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Edrin Cortez Orr was born on December 1, 1977 in Lawrence County, Alabama. He brought so much joy to his parents Mr. Willie Yarbrough and Mrs. Burl Davis Orr & Mr. James Orr, II. He transitioned from this life and took a peaceful birth into eternity on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at Huntsville Hospital
He was a young, vibrant and outspoken realist who enjoyed life to the fullest and was loved by so many people. He loved music, acting silly with EVERYONE while at the same time keeping it real. He loved and adored his family and most of all he loved food.
He was preceded in death by: his fathers, Willie Yarbrough and James Orr, II and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Edrin’s memories are treasured by: a loving and devoted mother and stepfather Burl Davis Hood and George Hood, II; seven sisters, Canary (Mark) Lucious, Leah (Marcus) Goode, Mary Deniece Yarbrough, Lavita Yarbrough, LaGretta Yarbrough, Kim (Tim) Jones and Shaunik Watkins; one brother, James Orr, III; his godmother who he was so close to and loved, Minnie Redus; five god-sisters, Diann Swoope, Andrique Orr Moore (Darris), LaQuita Hood Burks (Stevie Sr.), Shaquana Hood Watkins (Eddie) and Joletta Smith Cotton (Louis); one god brother, Eric Mason and many special friends who are too numerous to name and a host of aunts, uncles, niece, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers and Flower Bearers will be East Lawrence High School Class of 1995.
