A Celebration of Life for Ms. Harriett Evon Lampkin, 56 of Decatur, AL. will be noon, Tuesday at Reynolds Funeral Home with Bishop Ronnie Powell officiating. Public viewing will be Saturday from 2-6, Sunday from 1-5 and Tuesday from 10-12 at the funeral home.  

Mrs. Harriett Evon Lampkin Orr was born on July 25, 1960 in Morgan County, Alabama to the late H. W. and Mattie Florence Bibb Lampkin. She departed this life on May 22, 2017 at Decatur Morgan Hospital-Decatur General Campus.

During most of Harriett Lampkin’s adult life, she served God and she was a caring person and mother. She loved life and was a very out-spoken person.

She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Larry Lampkin, Mirl Lampkin, and Rosemary Stover.

The precious memory of Harriett will be remembered by: her loving husband, Victor Orr of Danville; her children, LaShonta Lampkin, Deon Lampkin (Christine Franklin), Antwon (Antra) Lampkin all of Decatur, Jeremy Orr of Hartselle; her siblings, Chester  (Marion) Lampkin of Hartselle, Eddie Lampkin of Montgomery, AL, John (Lula) Lampkin of Decatur, Antonia Lampkin, Sharon (Robert) Young , LaShonda (Tim) Stover , Michelle (Colby) Hall , Stephanie (Virgil) Stover ,Carolyn (Harold) Cooper, Adrienne Stover an Dana Stover all of Hartselle; 20 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Veronica Lampkin; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
