Hattie Myrl (Boyd) McDaniel

A Celebration of Life for Mrs. Hattie Myrl Boyd McDaniel, 90 of Moulton, Alabama will be 1:00PM, Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at Byler Road Church of Christ with Bro. Robert Monroe, pastor officiating.  Inhumation will follow in Lindsey Memorial Gardens.  The body will be placed in the church one hour prior to the funeral with Reynolds Funeral Home directing.  The public may view Mrs. McDaniel on Sunday from 2-6 and Monday from 10-5 at Reynolds Funeral Home.

Mrs. Hattie McDaniel entered this life on April 27, 1928 in Moulton, Alabama to the late Minnie Lloyd Boyd and the late Carlton Boyd. She departed this life on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at North Alabama Medical Center in Florence, Alabama.

She confessed her faith in Christ at an early age and was a member of Byler Road Church of Christ.  She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by: her husband, Warren G. McDaniel; mother, Minnie Lloyd Boyd; father, Carlton Boyd; son, Jackie McDaniel; two daughters, Sharonda Brackins and Rosie  Griffin; siblings, Luther Boyd, Benjamin Boyd, Eugene Boyd, Carl Boyd, Edward Boyd, Ezell Boyd, Willard Boyd, Marie Truss, Emma Jones, Bessie Echols, Carrie Sykes, Minnie Pointer and Gertrude Boyd

She leaves to cherish her memory: daughter, Clara (James) Thompson of Moulton; six sons, James (Kat) McDaniel of Atlanta, GA, Rufus Hodges of Louisville, KY, Rlee Boyd, Kenneth McDaniel, Frankie McDaniel, Randy (Demetria) McDaniel all of Moulton; one stepson, Willard (Cookie) McDaniel of Danville; sister, Bertha McDaniel; one brother Willie Gene Boyd; sister-in-law, Purfice Boyd and a dedicated granddaughter, Whitney Brackins all of Moulton; and a host of other grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
