A Celebration of Life for Mrs. Janice Lynn "Lindsey" Warner, 66 of Decatur, AL.  will be noon Saturday at Christ Temple Holiness Church with Dr. Chinetha Baker officiating and inhumation in Sterrs Cemetery.  The body will lie in repose one hour prior to funeral service.  Public viewing will be Thursday from 3-7 and Friday from 10-7 at Reynolds Funeral Home.

Janice Lynn Warner was born October 16, 1950 in Morgan County Alabama to the late Theophiles and Jennie Lee Bumpus. She departed this life Saturday September 30, 2017 in Birmingham, Alabama

She accepted Christ at an early age, and attended Apostolic Church of God in Decatur, Alabama. She later united with Christ Temple Holiness Church under the direction of Doctor Chinetha Baker, pastor.

She attended Lakeside High School becoming her family’s first high school graduate. She was a self-employed home daycare provider for almost 40 years.

She loved singing in the church choir, solos, driving the saints to and from church services. Lindsey loved serving God, serving God’s people, and she knew early in life she was born to serve and help others.

She was preceded in death by three siblings: Theophiles Bumpus,Jr.,  Joe O’Neal Bumpus, and Shirley Ann Bumpus.

Janice Lynn Bumpus Warner is survived by: two sons, Jullian Warner III and Marcus Tapscott; two daughters, Latasha Warner and Brittany Warner Johnson (Courtree);nine grandchildren, Jailen, Shanya, Antwan, Gabriel, Kevin, TaKyla, Zion, Journee, and a special grandson Alex; siblings, Evelina Brown (Fedor), Jeanette Hampton, Wylodene Cooper, Tommy Bumpus (Beverly), Larry Bumpus (Constance), Mary McDonald (Larry); and a special niece, Doris Hall (Greg); and a  host of other nieces, nephews, cousins; and a special friend, Ms. Rita Shannon.
