A Celebration of LIfe for Mrs. Jennifer Faye Lampkin Wiggins, 50 of Decatur, Alabama will be 1:00 pm, Saturday at Macedonia C.P. Church in America with the Reverend Edward Franklin officiating. Inhumation will follow in Decatur City Cemetery. The body will lie in repose one hour prior to the service. Public viewing will be Friday, from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Jennifer Faye Lampkin Wiggins was born in Hartselle, Alabama on May 4, 1968, to the late George Lampkin and Almetia Echols of Moulton, Alabama. She gained her wings on May 22, 2018 at Huntsville Hospital in Huntsville, Alabama.
Jennifer confessed Christ at an early age and joined Town Creek No. 1 Church in Landersville, Alabama. She attended school at Lawrence County High School.
She worked for Delphi and Russell Wood Forest for many years. She was loved by many who knew her. She was a mother to many children. She loved children and was very family oriented.
She was preceded in death by her father, George Lampkin.
Jennifer leaves to cherish her loving memory: a loving, dedicated, devoted, caregiving and nurturing husband, George Wiggins, Jr; a lovely daughter, Gabrielle Wiggins; a loving and caring mother, Almetia Echols; a special devoted sister, Brenda Echols (Jeffrey); caring brothers, George Dewayne Lampkin, James Gregory Lampkin (Cathy), Micheal Lampkin (Lilly) all of Moulton, AL; her aunts, Christine Allen of Hartselle, AL and Mary Williams of Landersville, AL; six sisters-in-law, Emma Pointer, Christine Wiggins, Latorya Wiggins, Lauren Wiggins, Jacqueline Gholston and Janice Torain; four brothers-in-law, Alfred Torain, Ron (Carolyn) Wiggins of New Mexico, Timothy Wiggins and Anthony Wiggins; a lovely devoted mother-in-law, Vivian Wiggins of Decatur, AL; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
