A Celebration of Life for Mr. Jock Jabbar Taylor Jr., 24 of Decatur, AL. will be 1:00 P.M. Sunday at Moulton Heights Church of Christ with Dr. Harold Gilmore officiating and inhumation in Calvary Memorial Gardens. Public viewing will be Friday from 3-7 and Saturday from 10-7 at Reynolds Funeral Home.
Jock Jabbar Taylor Jr. was born in Decatur, AL on February 21, 1995 to Jock and Joyce Langford Taylor. He completed his education at Butler High School. He was baptized at Moulton Heights Church of Christ in Decatur, AL.
In Jock’s younger years, he enjoyed playing baseball, football, and video games. Jock exhibited a special love for family and was often the entertainer at family gatherings. According to his mother, he was well-known by his loving and handsome smile when he encountered others.
He was preceded in death by: his grandparents, James Humphrey “Spider” Chairs, David Holyfield Sr. and his uncle, Keith Bell.
He leaves to cherish his memory: loving parents, Jock and Joyce Langford Taylor of Ardmore, AL; two dedicated sisters, Camill Langford and Ebony Taylor (Demond); two step-brothers, Jayln Simpson and Tylon Taylor; two grandmothers, Delois Taylor and Pauline Chairs-Dancy (Ossie); three aunts, Peggie Sharpley, Kenya Taylor, and Evelyn Rice (Jerry); an uncle, Jerrold Langford; three nieces, Jamirya Cunningham, Delajhia Underwood, Ariee Ivey, and a host of great-aunts, great-uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
