When I think of Joe, I think of the man with the "golden" voice. I can still hear him singing and leading songs in the choir at St. Peter Church.
Little did I know when the church library was started at St. Peter, Joe would be my go to person to help decorate and make repairs. He always had suggestions and ideas about making the library more appealing. He was eager to help whenever I asked.
Joe was a blessing again when my husband, Charles was ill. Going to visit Joe, sitting on his front porch and chatting with friends made Charles' day. He received so much joy from those visits many, many times. Joe was very patient and kind to Charles during his illness, and it was a relief knowing Charles had someone to visit and he would be safe. As I told you a few months ago Joe, thanks for being an angel and watching Charles.
I hope by sharing a few of my memories of Joe, the family will be uplifted. May God grant you all the comfort you will need during this time, and let the sweet memories of Joe always outweigh your sorrow. Love you. (Cousin Edwina)

Sharon, Leslie, Lowell and family:
The transition of our loved one has left a huge void in our family. But thank God to be absent from this life is to be present with our Lord! That is our consolation. I pray the loving memories continue to eternally sustain us all. I pray your peace and strength during this difficult time. May the sorrow you feel in your heart lighten by the love that surrounds you. Love, Cousin Renea
