Latonya (Taylor) Rasheed

A Celebration of Life for Ms. Latonya Taylor Rasheed, 42 of Moulton , Alabama will be noon Saturday, December 7, 2019 at Gibson Chapel Methodist Church and inhumation in Lindsey Memorial Gardens.  The body will lie in repose one hour prior to funeral.  Public viewing will be Thursday from 2-6 and Friday from 10:00 am 5:30 pm at Reynolds Funeral Home. Visitation will be Friday from 5:30 pm -6:30 pm at the funeral home. 

LaTonya Michelle Taylor was born May 20, 1977 to the late Mary Elizabeth Taylor in Lawrence County, AL.  She departed this life on November 28, 2019 at Decatur Morgan Hospital.

She accepted Christ as her personal Savior at an early age and united with Gibson Chapel Methodist Church in Oakville, AL.

She attended school in Speake and graduated from Speake High School with the Class of 1996.

“Bootie” as she was affectionately called by her family and friends was a very friendly, loving and caring young lady who was truly loved by her family and friends.  LaTonya was a very outgoing person who was full of life and enjoyed spending time playing cards, cooking and especially spending time with her three children and six grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Elizabeth Taylor; her grandparents, Hugh Taylor and Mamie Taylor; eight uncles ad two aunts.

LaTonya will forever be cherished by: her three children, Jakirah Taylor, Jarkez Taylor and Marquese Taylor; two brothers, Adrain Taylor (Jamie), Brandon Taylor (Ashlee); six grandchildren, Dakayshia, Kaylan, Korie, Mari, Christan and Keyston; four nephews, Gabriel Vernon, Trey Orr, Isaiah and Carter Taylor; two great-nephews, Carter and Nash Vernon; five aunts, Sheila, Roberta, Charlotte, Joyce and Virginia; four uncles, Nathan, Frank, June and Garcia; and a host of family and friends.
