A Celebration of Life for Mr. Levi Fuqua Jr, 59 of Decatur will be noon, Tuesday at Greater Jubilee House of Prayer with Bishop T.D. Strong officiating and inhumation to follow in Washchilla Cemetry in Town Creek, Alabama.  The body will lie in repose one hour prior to funeral.  Public viewing will be Monday from noon to 7 at Reynolds Funeral Home.

Mr. Fuqua was born in Lawrence County, Alabama on August 24, 1957 to the late Levi Fuqua Sr. and Queen E. Fitzgerald Fuqua.  He departed this life on June 1, 2017 at his residence.

Levi had great talent and many other skills including drawing, playing the base guitar, carpenter and electrical work.  He was full of humor and always motivated people and kept them laughing. There never was a dull moment around him. He had a good heart and would do anything for anybody.

He was preceded in death by: his parents, and three siblings, Cora Mae Gildon, Ida Swann and Dora Cowley.

He leaves to cherish his memory: one daughter, Catrina Y. Hines; four grandchildren, Alayshia, Elizabeth, Kaleah and Ameerial: three sisters, Pastor Gladys (John) Pointer, Francis Wendell Teague, Lee Aster King; one uncle, James (Margo) Hampton of Saginaw, MI and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
