A Celebration of Life will be noon Monday, March 11, 2019 at Reynolds Funeral Home will Bishop Patrick Tucker officiating and inhumation in Blackwell Cemetery. Public viewing will be Saturday and Sunday from 2-6 at the funeral home.
Louise Harris Jones was born on July 6, 1945 to the late Mr. Joe Harris and Delia Turner Harris of Limestone County, Alabama. She departed this life on March 5, 2019 in Decatur, Alabama.
Louise accepted Christ as her personal Savior at an early age. She was a member of Sand Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Priceville, Alabama until her declining health.
Our mother was one who read the Bible daily. She would always discuss the Bible with her family. She was a kind person who was known for keeping an immaculate home. Her hobbies included cooking, making quilts and drawing.
Louise was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clarence E. Jones; two sisters, Julia Mae Glenn and Corine Haley.
Louise leaves to cherish her memory: two daughters, Georgia (Alonza) Owens of Hillsboro, AL, Alma (Chris) Jones of Decatur, AL; one son, Gary (Pamela) Jones of Decatur, AL; two sisters, Rose Harris of Decatur, AL and Christine Eason of Huntsville, AL; one brother, Charles Harris of Decatur, AL; a loving mother-in-law, Julia Jones of Decatur, AL; six sisters-in-law, Hattie Mae Toney of Priceville, AL, Betty Jean Nichols of Decatur, AL, Peggy Ann Jones of Decatur, AL, Louvenia Jones, Inez Toney of Decatur, AL, Katherine (Bobbie) Hampton of Hillsboro, AL; one brother-in-law, Bobbie Leroy Jones of Decatur, AL; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Nephews and Cousins. Flower Bearers will be Nieces and Cousins.
