A Celebration of Life for Ms. Millicent L. Huber, 43 of Decatur, AL. will be noon Saturday at St. Peter M.B. Church and inhumation in Adkins Cemetery. The body will lie in repose one hour prior to funeral. Public viewing will be Thursday from 4-6 and Friday from 10-6 at Reynolds Funeral Home.
Millicent Lazelle Huber was born to the late Bennie Ruth Barker and John Leroy Huber on May 27, 1975 in Decatur, AL. She departed this life on January 6, 2019 at Huntsville Hospital.
She attended Hartselle High School and furthered her education by taking Cosmetology classes. In her early years she was involved in sports, she was a Hershey’s Track Star. Millicent was a person that loved work and meant well; for she said what she meant and meant what she told. She often said what was on her mind. She was a jewel and the life of the party. Millicent touched many hearts, especially the ones that knew her, for she was one of a kind.
Millicent was a funny, loving person that made everybody around her laugh. She lived an enjoyable life, and accepted Christ at an early age.
Millicent was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents, Lazelle and John Marshall Huber, Ruth and Ben Henry Barker; a brother, Leroy Huber, III; an aunt, Carolyn Barker.
She leaves to cherish her memory: a devoted soulmate, Rodney Scruggs of Decatur; her children, Cierra (Aaron) Bankhead, Desmond (Victoria) Huber, Samaria Morrow all of Decatur, Cameron Huber of Corpus Christi, TX; grandchildren, MaKenzie and Ajayla Huber, Aaron Bankhead, Jr., Desmond Hubert, Jr.; one sister, Brandi (Charles) Johnson; two uncles, Lee A. Barker, Sr of Decatur, Lorenzo Humphrey of Los Angeles, CA; three aunts, Gloria (Paul) Winton of Somerville, AL, Danella Humphrey of Los Angeles, CA and Barbara Scott of Newark, NJ; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers and Flower Bearers will be family and friends.
