Celebration of Life Service for Ms. Millie A. Jackson of Hillsboro, AL will be held on Monday, January 14, 2019, 1:00 p.m. at Oakville Christian Faith Center in Danville, AL with The Rev. Dr. Henry Jackson, officiating. The body will lie in repose one hour prior to the service. Public viewing will be Sunday, 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm. The family will receive friends on Sunday, 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Reynolds Funeral Home Memorial Chapel.

Millie Jackson was born on July 24, 1988 to Henrietta Massey and Henry Jackson in Lawrence County, Alabama. She departed life on January 09, 2019 at Huntsville Hospital.

Millie accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Oakville Christian Faith Center in Danville, AL.

Millie attended East Lawrence High School and graduated with the class of 2007. She furthered her education by attending Calhoun to become a nurse. Millie was best known to her family and friends as always having a beautiful smile on her face whether she was happy or sad. Millie touched so many hearts by just her warm presence and listening ear.

She is preceded in death by: her mother, Bertha Jackson; her grandmother, Annie Bell Hullett; her maternal grandmother, Rebecca Massey.

Millie leaves to cherish her memory: father, The Rev. Dr. Henry Jackson of Hillsboro, AL; birth-mother, Henrietta Strain (John) of Decatur AL; brothers and sisters, Schantee Holloway (Shelby) of Huntsville, AL, Melvin Jackson of Cleveland, TN, Stephanie Burruss of Huntsville, AL, Reginald Clay of Hillsboro, AL, William Jackson of Cleveland, TN, Justin Jackson of Decatur, AL, Stephanie Jackson of Decatur, AL and Marcus Jackson of Decatur, AL; special friend, Adam Lewis of Huntsville, AL; friend, La’Tisha Ray; a host of loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends who will gravely miss her.
