Omar Krishaun Fowler, 18, of Hartselle, passed away on Sunday, September 24, 2017 in Morgan County due to injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.

Omar was born in Decatur, AL on April 15, 1999 to his proud parents, Chris Fowler and Wakeelah Muhammad .  Omar was a quiet, fun-loving, good natured young man. He enjoyed fishing, drawing, painting, basketball, spending time outdoors and with friends and family. He was a member of Providence Missionary Baptist Church. He was a proud 2017 graduate from Hartselle High School.  Omar worked part-time at Burger King in Hartselle while he attended Calhoun Community College.

Omar is survived by his parents, Chris and Wakeelah; his older brother, Dontay Muhammad and his younger sister, Aaliyah Fowler; his paternal great grandmother, Virginia Stroud; his paternal grandparents, William and Virgie Fowler; and a host of loving aunts, uncles, and cousins, and close friends.  He was proceeded in death by his maternal grandparents, Charlie and Jessie Muhammad.

Visitation will be held at Reynolds Funeral Home in Decatur on Friday, September 29th from 6:00 p.m. -7:00 p.m.  Funeral Services will take place at Hartselle Heritage  Funeral Home on Saturday, September 30th at 1:00 p.m. All are invited to honor Omar and remember his kind, loving, spirit.
