Phil Lynn Orr

A Celebration of Life for Mr. Phil Lynn Orr, 53 of Courtland, AL. will be 1:00 PM Saturday, April 13, 2019 at First M.B. Church in Courtland with The Reverend Christopher O. Neloms officating and inhumation in New Life Cemetery.  The body will lie in repose one hour prior to funeral.  Visitation and Public Viewing will be Friday from 6:00 PM-7:00 PM at Reynolds Funeral Home.  There will be no public viewing at the church.

Phil Lynn Orr was born January 26, 1966 to Phillip Orr and the late Margeurite Patton Jones in Lawrence County, Alabama. He departed this life on April 9, 2019 in Courtland, AL. Phil confessed hope in Christ at an early age and joined Jackson Chapel C.M.E. Church.

Phil was a very devoted husband, father, uncle, and a very good provider for his family. Many days you could see him outside washing his family vehicles, or tending his garden and yard around his home. He took pride in making sure that they all were clean and beautiful. Those that knew him well, knew that he was a fun-loving and caring person.

Phil leaves to cherish his memory: his sweetheart and loving wife, Tangela Key Orr of Courtland, AL; two children, his daughter, Tyra Orr and son, Tyris Orr whom he adored both of Courtland, AL; one brother, Printess (Andrea) Orr of Decatur, AL; two sisters, Margaret Diane Wade and Bobbie (Bernard) Mason both of Decatur; seven uncles, eight aunts; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Phil will be missed and we love him, but GOD loved him best. and

Pallbearers will be Class of 1984 and Nephews. Flower Bearers will be Class of 1984 and Nieces.
