Funeral for  Mrs. Sarah K. Long of Belle Mina, Alabama wil be held at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at Jerusalem P.B. Church with the Reverend Ronnie Patton officiating and interment will be in Garrett Cemetery.  The body will lie in repose one hour prior to funeral with Reynolds Funeral Home directing.   Mrs. Long died January 16, 2013 at her home.  She is the wife of Deacon John Henry Long.

Sarah Long was born August 3, 1928 in Limestone County, Alabama to the late Lucy Kingston and the Reverend Willie Dennis. She departed this life on January 16, 2013 at her residence.

She confessed hope in Christ at an early age and joined Nazarene P. B. Church under the leadership of the late Reverend Mark Batts. She was a faithful member and Mother until her health failed.

She married the late Ernest Yarbrough in 1947, and to this union three children were born; Ernestine Coffman, Willie Preston Yarbrough and Sarah Wallace. She later married Deacon John H. Long in 1952.

She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Willie Preston Yarbrough.

Her loving memory will be cherished by; her husband, John H. Long; three daughters, Ernestine Coffman, and Sarah Wallace of Belle Mina, AL, Queen (James) Sandifer of Huntsville, AL; two sisters, Ollie White of Athens, AL  and Mildred Kingston of Tanner, A;. one brother, David (Margaret) Kingston of Belle Mina, AL; ten grandchildren, Orlanda, Tyrone, Luchina, Louis, Amos Yarbrough, Daniel, Cecil Coffman, Lisa Wallace; Jeremy, Jessica Sandifer and Chastity Kingston, sixteen great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving relatives and friends.
