Ade’Ja accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age under the leadership ofElder Calvin M. Hood Sr. at Flower Hill COGIC. She served as a devoted member singing in the choir and performing other Christian duties before later moving her membership to Wayman Chapel AME church under the leadership of the Reverend Robert Hereford Sr. Some of her favorite songs she led in the choir were “My Help”, “Is Your All On The Altar”, and “The Battle Is The Lord’s.” At the time of her death, she attended Victory Church under the leadership of the late Apostle Carter Videau, who transitioned the same day as she did.
