Alfonzo Taylor Jackson

Graveside Service for Mr. Alfonzo T. Jackson, 64 of Huntsville, Alabama will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 31, 2020 at Sterrs Cemetery with the Reverend George Allen, Jr officiating.  Public viewing will be Friday from noon till 5:00 at Reynolds Funeral Home. 

Alfonzo T. Jackson of Huntsville, Alabama was born on January 17, 1954 in Decatur, Alabama to the late Clarence Edward Jackson, Jr. and Carlina Taylor Jackson.  He departed this life on October 24, 2020 in Huntsville, AL.

Alfonzo attended Lakeside High School and later transferred to West Morgan School where he graduated. After graduation he enlisted in the U.S. Army for four years.

He was preceded in death his parents; his sister, Linda Jackson and brother, Curtis Jackson.

Alfonzo leaves to cherish his memory: a devoted wife, Demita Jackson of Huntsville, AL; four children, Storia Brandon of Huntsville, AL, Alishia Jackson Echols (Edquado) of Marietta, GA, Almon Lampkin of Huntsville, AL and Marques Tapscott of Hartselle, AL; two step-daughters, Tara Garrett of Demopolis, AL and Erica Garrett of Ohatchee, AL; four sisters, Twannie Jackson Hubbard, Shelia Jackson, Carlisa Jackson and Joyce Jackson all of Decatur; two brothers, Terry Jackson and Edward Jackson (Barbara) all of Decatur; 14 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
