Funeral Service for Ms. Amber Rollins,54, of Decatur, Alabama will be 11:00AM Monday October 21, 2024, at Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church with Bishop Thomas Davis officiating. Inhumation will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery. The body will lie in repose one hour prior to service. Public viewing will be Sunday October 20, 2024, from 1:00PM until 4:00PM at Reynolds Funeral Home.
Ms. Amber Lynn Rollins departed this life October 15, 2024, at Decatur Morgan Hospital. She was born in Courtland, Alabama, February 21, 1970, to the late Queen Ester Rollins and James Edward Garth.
Ms. Rollins confessed hope in Christ at an early age. While known for her fast talking and sense of humor, Amber had a heart of pure gold. She adored her children and had a love that ran deep for her family both biological and chosen. If she said she got you, then she had you. Amber was the life of any party and could turn the hardest frown upside down.
Amber was preceded in death by: her parents, grandparents, brother, Jerrell Dawkins, and aunt, Shirley Davis.
She leaves to cherish her wonderful life and memory: her children, Danta Rollins, Terrian Smiley, Minijah Johnson; grandson, Brandon Webb Jr.; brothers, Charlie Rollins, Jeffery Rollins (Erica), Terrell Dawkins, Shun Dawkins, Chris Dawkins, James Garth Jr.; sister, Barbara Thorne; uncles, Ike Davis, Mike Davis, Grant Mayes; aunts, Rachel Davis, Deborah Davis, Emma Jean Garth, Ollie White (James), Effie Garth; best friend, Aletha Key and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
