Annie Mae (West) Nelson

Graveside Service celebrating the life of Mrs. Annie West Nelson, 79 of Town Creek, Alabama will be noon Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at Rock Springs CP Church in America with the Reverend Critis Fletcher officiating. Public viewing will be Tuesday from 1:00 pm till 6:00 pm at Reynolds Funeral Home.

Mrs. Annie West Nelson was born on August 9, 1941 in Pickens County, Alabama to the late Lester and Annie Mannings West. She took her eternal rest on Friday, April 2, 2021 at North Alabama Medical Center in Florence, Alabama.

She united with Rock Springs C.P. Church in America in Mount Hope, Alabama when her family relocated from south Alabama. She remained a faithful member until her passing. 

She adored and loved her family especially her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and nine of her eleven siblings.

She leaves to cherish her love and memory: two sons, Robin Nelson of Town Creek and Tracy (Tangy) Jackson of Tuscumbia; two daughters, Cynthia (Ossie) Jones of Town Creek and Gracie Nelson of Leighton; one brother, William West of Decatur; four nieces, Veronica Sears and Lisa West both of Decatur, Tarrie Hood of Moulton and Freida West of Baton Rouge, LA: one nephew, Glenn (Carla) Hood of Athens; nine grandchildren, Ira Harris. Vincent Hewlette of Town Creek, Tiffany Nelson of Florence, Marquis Nelson, Alex Nelson of Russellville, Eric Little, Jasmine Jackson of Leighton, Devin Jackson and Malaya Jackson of Tuscumbia; seven great grandchildren: five great nieces and nephews; and plethora of cousins, other relatives and friends.
