A Celebration of Life for Mr. Antwanius “Twan” D. Stovall, 39 of Decatur, Alabama will be noon Saturday at United Pentecostal Jubilee House of Prayer with Bishop Thomas D. Strong officiating and inhumation in Sterrs Cemetery. The body will lie in repose one hour prior to funeral service.
Antwanius DeQuinn Stovall was born August 29, 1980 in Decatur, Alabama to Margaret Stovall Mitchell and Lorenzo Parrish Mitchell. He departed this life on February 1, 2020 at his residence.
"Twan", as he was affectionately known, accepted Christ at an early age.
He attended school in the Decatur City School System, graduating from Decatur High School. He was then employed at Kholer in Madison, Alabama.
He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Georgia Mae Stovall and Fannie Mae Parrish; grandfathers, William “Red” Whitfield and James Wright; and one brother, Carlos Watkins.
Antwanius leaves to cherish his memory: his loving parents, Margaret Mitchell and Lorenzo Mitchell; four daughters, Jazylyn Stovall, Lauryn Stovall, Brooklyn Stovall, and Maliah Collier; one step-daughter, Kameryia Parham; one son, Ashton Stovall, all of Decatur, AL; three brothers, Jason Stovall, Rodrick (Mashonda) Watkins, Derrick (Denise) Watkins, all of Decatur, AL; one sister, Ashya Hill Harden of Madison, AL; uncles, Julius (Shirley) Stovall Jeffrey (Shondra) Stovall James (Paula) Stovall, Cedrick Whitfield, Marcus (Myra) Whitfield, Therum Whitfield; aunts, Mamie Aldridge, Shirley Hill, Rebecca Gibson, Queen Tucker, Latrice (Tony) Elliott, Minister Ruth Smith; two great aunts, Emma Smoke and Johnnie Mae Lester; four great uncles, Frederick Stovall, Jameel Shadee; special friends, Monique Hampton and Kiaya Lloyd; childhood special friends, Timothy Nelson, Eric Parrish, Laquinton Orr, Alexis Gray, Josh Jackson, Jamie Langford, Reginal Jones, Fredrick Wiggins, Brodrick Wiggins and Tony Garrett; and a host of other relatives and friends.
