Berda Dianne Payne Forney 61 of Decatur. Alabama was born April 3, 1959 in Town Creek, Alabama to the late Reuben Payne and Missouri Ross Payne.  She departed this life on September 25, 2020 at the Decatur General Campus of Decatur Morgan Hospital.

Mrs. Payne accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Union Grove P.B. Church.

She was a graduate of Austin High School.  She was a retiree of International Papers where she was a forklift operator.  

She was a family person that loved and adored her children and grandchildren.  She enjoyed traveling, shopping and attending concerts.  She was a loving person that will be missed greatly by her family and friends.

She leaves to cherish her loving memory: her children, Taja Payne of Decatur and Tobias (Carmen) Payne of Trinity: six grandchildren, three great grandchildren; sister, Wanda Rhodes Ellis and a host of other relatives and friends.

At Mrs. Forney’s request there will be no services and her Cremains will be spread out at a later date.
