Graveside Service for Ms. Betty Fennell 76 of Decatur, Alabama will be 1:00 pm Saturday, February 27, 2021 at Decatur City Cemetery-Sterrs addition with Bishop T. D. Strong officiating. Public viewing will be held on Friday, 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Reynolds Funeral Home.
Betty Jean Fennell was born on May 10, 1944 to the late Amanda Louise and Doc Foster of Somerville, AL. She departed this life on February 21, 2021 in Decatur, Alabama.
She is preceded in death by her parents; four sisters; six brothers and two sons, Paul Steele and Stanley Evens; two grandchildren, Charity Fennell and Baby Antonio Foster.
Betty Jean leaves to cherish her memory: six children, Betty Faye Foster, Henry Foster, Levette Fennell (Jimmy) Napoleon Fennell (Coretta) all of Decatur, AL, Pearl Foster of Tupelo, MS and John Fields (Jennifer) of Madison, AL; 12 grandchildren, Isarel Foster, Chasity Foster, Michael Foster, Jeremy Foster, DeAngelo Foster, Jada Johnson, Roderick Long, Audra McCoy, Stanley Dawson, DeAurda McDaniel, Travis Riley, Demetrius White; 12 great grandchildren; nine great great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Isarel Foster, Michael Foster, Stanley Foster, Roderick Long and Demetrius White.
Flower Girls will be family and friends.
