Reynolds Funeral Home announces with deepest sympathy the passing of Mr. Bruce Everett Cox, 54 of Decatur, Alabama. Mr. Cox passed away October 16, 2020 at his residence.
Graveside Service will be 1:30 p.m. Friday, October 23, 2020 at Midway Memorial Gardens (formerly East Lawrence Memorial Gardens). Visitation will be Thursday from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Reynolds Funeral Home.
Bruce Everett Cox better known as “Blue” was born in Decatur, Alabama on July 9, 1966.
His father was James Cox and stepmother Kay Cox. He has two siblings, Melba Tate and Jamie Cox.
He was survived by his daughter, Amanda Ingram; his son Matthew Cox; two grandchildren, Caden and Eli Ingram..
Blue was a hard-working and loving father and grandfather. In his spare time he loved riding his motorcycle, Alabama football, watching old westerns and spending time with his family.
He was loved very much by his family and friends.
