Caleb Troy “Juug” Martin was born on June 12, 2000, in Decatur, Alabama, to Teairra Jackson and Corey Martin. On September 16, 2025, Troy gained his heavenly wings when he passed away unexpectedly.

TROY accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age at Calvary Assembly of God in Decatur, Alabama. He received his education in the Decatur and Madison school systems, attending both Austin High School and James Clemens High School.

TROY’S love for his children, family, and friends was extraordinary. He lived his life with a kind spirit, a big heart, and a smile that touched everyone he met. His story was one of love, compassion, and joy for those he held closest.

He was preceded in death by his uncle, Cedric D. Jackson.

TROY leaves to cherish his memory: his two beloved children, Secret Martin of Decatur, AL, and Caleb Martin, Jr., of Huntsville, AL; one brother, Devan Hood of Decatur, AL; and one sister, Tamera Martin-Haden (James) of Huntsville, AL. He will also be remembered by his aunts, Kimberly Jackson (James) of Hillsboro, AL, Marcie Pruitt, Sonya Martin, Connie S. (Ronnie), and Pam Bass, all of Decatur, AL, Sierra Campbell (Felix) of Somerville, AL, Teresa Cosby (AL) of Birmingham, AL, Cynthia Jackson of Atlanta, GA, Connie Binford (Gary) and Lisa Marshall (Victor), both of Huntsville, AL; and uncles, Terrance Jackson of Huntsville, AL, Martez Jackson, Wendell Thompson, and Derrick Thompson, all of Decatur, AL, Steve Pruitt (Tina) of Hillsboro, AL, John Anthony Martin of Hartselle, AL, and Mariano Jackson of Atlanta, GA. His memory will live on through his nephews, Denzel Haden and Kayden Martin-Wiggins, both of Huntsville, AL; paternal grandparents, David Lee Martin of Hillsboro, AL, and Linda Martin of Decatur, AL; maternal grandparents, Stephanie “Mom” Jones (Fred) of Decatur, AL, and Cedric T. Jackson of Huntsville, AL; along with a host of cousins, extended family, and countless friends who will continue to celebrate his life.

TROY’S presence will be deeply missed, but his legacy of love, kindness, and family devotion will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew him.
