Calvin Leo Sharpley

Graveside Service for Mr. Calvin L. Sharpley, 67 of Huntsville, AL and formerly of Hartselle, AL will be 11:00AM Thursday at Providence Missionary Baptist Church with the Reverend K.C. Orr officiating.  Mr. Sharpley transitioned on December 25, 2024 at Huntsville Hospice Family Care.  There will be no public viewing.

Calvin Leo Sharpley was born on November 25, 1957 to the late Kelsoe Shapley and Jeannette Nichol. Mr. Sharpley went home to be with the Lord on December 25, 2024 at 7:30 am at Hospice Home Care in Huntsville, AL. Mr. Calvin Sharpley was a great son, dad, brother, uncle, nephew and a friend. He never met a stranger, he also had a great heart of gold. Mr. Sharpley loved talking to people, watching old western movies, and walking to Walmart. Mr. Calvin Sharpley touched many lives in many ways and for that we will be forever grateful for the memories he left us. Mr. Sharpley is preceded in death by; his father, Kelsoe Sharpley; mother, Jannete Nichol and a son, Demetres Orr (Carrie). He leaves behind to cherish his memory, one daughter, Leesondra Hullett; four grand kids, Aalrayn Hullett, Corinthian Hullett, Demetress Orr, Jr. and Serenity Thompson; one great grandchild, Lariyan Sherrod; two sisters, Izora Orr of Danville, Jon Flowers of Decatur, one brother, Jimmy of Tennessee; four cousins, Janet White of Oakville, AL, Larry Powell, Carolyn Powell, Linda Harvey;  and host of many nieces and nephews.
