Carl Edward Bradley was born on May 21, 1953, to Ned and Matilda Bradley in
Limestone County, Alabama. Surrounded by the love of family, Carl transitioned to
his heavenly home on January 1, 2026, at Huntsville Hospital in Huntsville,
Alabama.

Carl received his education in the Limestone County, Alabama Educational School
System. He graduated from East Limestone High School in 1973, where he was an
active member of the EL Basketball Team. In addition to his participation in
athletics, Carl was also involved in the Future Farmers of America (FFA).
Carl married the love of his life, Sara Montez Matthews, on June 3, 1978. Their
union was blessed with a son, Joseph Awoniyi Bradley. In addition to Joseph, Carl
is also the father of LaTerria Haislip.

Carl accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at a young age and began his spiritual
journey at Mount Zion Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Later in life, he
transferred his membership to Center Grove United Methodist Church in
Huntsville, Alabama. At Center Grove, Carl served on the Usher Board until his
health began to decline. He was also a committed member of the Food Share
Ministry, dedicating his time and efforts to serving others through this outreach
program.

Carl dedicated much of his professional life to the dairy industry, working as a
machinist for Pet Dairy Milk Company in Decatur, Alabama. He later continued
his career at Meadow Gold Dairy Company in Huntsville, Alabama, where he
contributed his skills and work ethic for several years.

Carl was actively involved in his community as a coach the Northern League
baseball and basketball teams. Through this role, he made a positive impact on the
lives of young athletes, fostering teamwork, discipline, and a love for sports.
Carl was a lifelong enthusiast of harness racing, a passion that was instilled in him
by his mother. This cherished interest was more than just a pastime; it was a
meaningful family tradition. Carl faithfully carried on this legacy by sharing his
love for harness racing with his son, Joseph.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ned and Matilda Bradley and siblings,
Eloise, Rosevelt, Idella, and Timmie.

Carl leaves to cherish his memory, his devoted wife of 47 years Sara Montez
Matthews Bradley of Huntsville; children, Joseph A. Bradley of Huntsville;
LaTerria (Rodney) Haislip of Lawrenceburg, TN; two grandsons, Christopher and
Taryon Baker and a great- granddaughter Miah Baker; two sisters, Hattie Turner
of Decatur, AL; Gloria (Carl) Caudle of Belle Mina, AL., a host of nieces,
nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

It is with a magnitude of love, deep affection, respect, and endless gratitude that we
