A Celebration of Life Memorial Service for Mrs. Catherine Andrews, 75 of Decatur will be 11:00 am May 4, 2024 at Greater Union Missionary Baptist Church in Mobile, Alabama with the Reverend Carl V. Andrews, Sr., eulogizing and the Reverend Eugene R. Morris officiating.

Catherine Andrews began her journey of life on October 2, 1948 in Mobile, AL. She departed this life on April 11, 2024 in Decatur, Alabama.

She was a 1966 graduate of Central High School in Mobile, AL and later attended Bishop State Community College where she earned her associate degree.

Catherine was preceded in death by her parents; John D. Andrews Sr. and Elizabeth Andrews; and five siblings, James Andrews, John Andrews, Bernice Darrington, Bernard Andrews and Benita Andrews. 

Catherine is survived by her: two daughters, Nicole Washington and Jeanette Bryan; grandson, Andrew (DeAuhjdrah) Washington; great-grandson, Adriel Washington; brothers, John Andrews Jr, Carl (Gwenda) Andrews; sisters, Mary James, Love Wright, Regina Mitchell, Yolander King-Craig and Anita Andrews; sister-in-law, Paulette Andrews; two devoted friends, Sally Washington and Josie Gibson and a host of devoted relatives and friends.
