Cedric Deshawn ("Goodbuddy") Reed

Funeral Service for Mr. Cedric " Goodbuddy"Reed,54, of Decatur, AL will be noon Friday in Reynolds Funeral Home Chapel. Inhumation will follow in Sterrs Cemetery. The body will lie in repose one hour prior to service. Public viewing will be Thursday form 1:00PM until 5:00PM at Reynolds Funeral Home. 

Cedric DeShawn “Goodbuddy” Reed was born on December 31, 1970, in Decatur, AL, to his loving parents Betty Ann Reedand Clifford Jones. He departed his life on March 14, 2025, at Springhill Medical Center in Mobile, AL.

Cedric attended Decatur High School in Decatur, AL.

He was preceded in death by his two loving parents Betty Ann Reed, Clifford Jones; grandparents Mattie Reed, John Henry Reed, Helen Jones, James Jones; one aunt Debra Willingham.

He leaves to cherish a brother Darius Seals (Lisa) of Red Bay, AL; five aunts Sarah McClendon, Fannie Sue Reed, Laura Lyle,Helena Helton (Reggie), Shellie Jones all of Decatur, AL; one godson Jeremiah King, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. A close friend Patricia.
